The Institute of Texan Cultures at UT San Antonio is reopening in a big way at a new temporary location in Frost Tower. Slated to open to the public in early 2026, ITC wants YOU to join the celebration!
ITC is on the hunt for homecoming mums: the bold, bedazzled, bigger-the-better icons of Texas tradition! As they gear up for their reopening, they will be presenting MUMENTOUS® as the first traveling exhibition in their new space. Originally organized by the Arlington Museum of Art, ITC wants to add a local and regional touch to the MUMENTOUS® exhibition.
Do you still have your homecoming mum hanging on your wall? Did you save one from high school as a keepsake? Whether over-the-top or simple and sweet, ITC wants to hear your mum story and display your creation as part of the exhibit!
