The Friends of the Burleson Library present All the Bells & Whistles: The upsized history of homecoming mums in Texas,” a fun and interactive presentation by Amy J. Schultz. Amy is the author of the award-winning book MUMENTOUS, a collection of personal stories, photographs, and deep dives into the 100+ year evolution of the homecoming mum tradition.

In addition to her talk, you’ll also see a collection of locally-made or worn mums, curated by the Friends of the Burleson Library.

Light refreshments will be served at the event.

Meet the Homecoming Mumologist

Amy J. Schultz, author of MUMENTOUS, is an award-winning photographer and author who explores unique aspects of modern culture that hide in plain sight. Amy and her husband live in Texas with their gigantic golden retriever. When she isn’t talking about mums, Amy is writing, taking photos, working with clients on creative projects, traveling, snort-laughing, or vacuuming up dog fur.
